Hello and welcome to, "My Fish Stand" website for the beginner hobbyist getting into keeping freshwater tropical fish. This website is designed to be easy and only offering what you need and not what you DON'T need. My philosophy about helping others and giving information is to keep it as simple as possible. This website may look basic, but it will have everything you need to get your freshwater aquarium running from the start. There is a complete step by step guide on how to set up your aquarium. There will also be information on how to maintain the aquarium, about different medication types (if fish get sick), what type of tank and pump to buy and of course lots of tropical fish profiles which will show information about them such as how big they will get, behavior, types of foods they likes to eat, minimum tank size and the temperament of the fish and what tank mates you can have with the fish.
